Using Heat and Other Tools to Deploy HIghly Available Environments

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The goal of this workshop is to give the audiences a hands-on experience in deploying multi-tier environments in OpenStack using the Orchestration service (Heat). We will also use the Telemetry service (Ceilometer) to automate the failovers and provide better availability for the applications running on top of OpenStack.

This is a hands-on workshop, and the audience is expected to participate. I will provide the remote environments for the exercise, you will need to have the following:

  • Laptop with Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet

  • Firefox or Chrome web-browser to connect to the dashboard

The number of environments is finite, so make sure not to be late.
