OpenStack is based on community participation.  It is critical for the OpenStack community to continue to mature and grow.  OpenStack Meetups and other user groups are critical to the health and success of OpenStack. This session will host a group of panelists who have years of experience in starting and growing OpenStack user groups/Meetups and will provide:

 



  • Tips on finding and participating in OpenStack user groups



  • Tips and tools on starting your own local OpenStack user group



  • Best practices on maturing and expanding an existing user group by offering hackathons and ILT/Online OpenStack hands-on courses that are based on the OpenStack Training Guides



  • Creative ways to deal with remote attendance



  • Tips on finding and keeping sponsors
